Notes
The widget is a self-contained page: the translation runs entirely in the visitor's browser, and nothing typed into it is sent anywhere. It adds no Google Analytics. Cloudflare, which serves this site, adds two scripts to every page: its bot detection and its Web Analytics beacon. In the widget the browser refuses the second, because the widget's own security policy admits scripts from this site alone. The first runs there as it does everywhere, reports to Cloudflare after the page loads, and sets Cloudflare's cookies, cf_clearance and __cf_ob, for this site's address — not for yours. The privacy page describes both scripts and what was measured.
It carries a small link back to this site. That link is the only thing asked in return, and it is what keeps this free.
Teachers and accessibility teams: use it freely on internal course pages and intranets. There is nothing to license.
